Copying requires a browser wallet extension, so this part of the product needs a desktop browser that supports one. Everything else on hypeRank, including the rankings, the wallet checker, the comparison view and the copy simulator, works anywhere.
Browsing needs nothing. Copying needs two approvals, and both of them live under Settings.
- 1. Connect your wallet. This proves who you are and creates your session. It grants no trading permission on its own.
- 2. Go to Settings and open the Agent page. Authorizing an agent wallet is a protocol-level Hyperliquid feature: an agent can place orders on your account and cannot withdraw from it. This is what lets copying happen without custody.
- 3. Go to Settings and open the Builder page. Live copying requires an explicit on-chain builder fee approval from your wallet. Without it, orders are not sent.
Agent approvals carry an expiry that you choose when you authorize. When an agent expires, copying stops rather than failing silently, and you are notified before that point rather than after. Re-authorizing is the same flow again, from the same page.
You can revoke an agent directly on Hyperliquid at any time, without going through us. Revocation is immediate and it does not depend on anything on our side staying available.
- An agent can
- Place and reduce orders on your Hyperliquid account, within the risk limits you set for each follow.
- An agent cannot
- Withdraw funds, transfer to another address, or change your account's own settings.
- Where the key lives
- The agent key is encrypted at rest under a secret held separately from everything else in the system, so a leak in one place does not open the other.
If you are not ready to authorize anything, start in paper mode. It records what would have happened without sending a single order to the exchange.
