A copy score is built from the qualities that transfer to someone else's account. Raw profit does not transfer. Sizing discipline, consistency and the shape of losses do. Here is what goes into it and, more usefully, what each one is protecting you from.
- Risk-adjusted return
- Return measured against the variability it took to get there. Protects you from a wallet whose result came from one enormous position that happened to work.
- Consistency
- Whether the result holds up across day, week and month rather than arriving in a single burst. Protects you from copying a wallet just after its one good week.
- Drawdown behaviour
- How deep the worst decline was, and how the wallet behaved inside it. Protects you from a strategy you would abandon at exactly the wrong moment.
- Holding period
- How long positions are typically held. Protects you from strategies whose edge lives inside a time window you cannot realistically enter.
- Activity
- How often the wallet actually trades. Protects you from a track record built on so few decisions that it cannot be distinguished from luck.
- Execution sensitivity
- How much of the result depends on getting in at nearly the same price. Protects you from a strategy that works for the trader and not for anyone copying them seconds later.
- Concentration
- How much of the profit came from a handful of trades or a single market. Protects you from a number that describes one lucky position rather than a process.
One thing is deliberately absent. We do not rank by profit, because profit without the context above tells you who was lucky rather than who is repeatable. Profit is on the page, in detail, but it is not the ordering.
A wallet can also fail the screen outright rather than score low. That happens when something about it makes copying unsafe rather than merely unattractive, and the trader page says which check it failed.
Scores are computed from a rolling 30-day window of on-chain activity. A wallet that stops performing stops ranking, without anyone intervening.
